How to rip DVD to SBS MP4 videos for Gear VR

Step. Load DVD movies

Launch the top DVD to Gear VR converter, add your DVD files by clicking the “DVD disc” icon. ISO/IFO image files and DVD folders are also supported.


Step 2. Select output format for Gear VR

Click “Format” bar and find “3D Video”, there are a lot of format options for you. “MP4 Side-by-Side 3D Video (*.mp4)” is recommended for Zeiss VR One.


Step 3. Advanced Video/Audio settings

Click “Settings” button to do corresponding settings regarding to video, audio. Note that Gear VR compatible audio has to be encoded in AAC or MP3. AC3 audio and DTS Dolby don’t seem to work. Plus, in this Profile Settings window, you can also select 3D Anaglyph and 3D Depth.


Step 4. Start to rip DVD to Gear VR

The last step is to press the big “Convert” button on the right to start converting DVD files to Gear VR supported 3D MP4 vidoes. The conversion takes a few minutes, if you don’t have time to wait, you can choose “Shut down computer after conversion”. Then your computer will be turned off automatically after the conversion is finished.

After conversion, you can click “Open” to locate the output videos. Then you can transfer and play the converted SBS MP4 3D videos on your Gear VR from SD Card. Note to do that you first have to place your video files into the folder named “My Videos” on your SD card.
